End of Semester Evaluations: Agreements and Procedures 7
René Larenas M. 10 Jul10 de Julio a las 10:19 hrs.2024-07-10 10:19:10 Special Announcement
Dear Students,
As your Faculty and the UCh English Program have agreed upon, I have some important updates to share with you concerning our 1st Semester Ending process, and these can be summarized as follows:
1. Our Final Oral Exam attendance requirement has been removed. Therefore, there is no 75% attendance requirement.
2. Next Week (July 17th - July 19th), we will have our Final Oral Exam (60%). Please do not miss these sessions!
2.1 Therefore, next week's exam will keep the online format. If you have any problems with your internet connection or any other issue might emerge, please write back as soon as possible.
2.2 The evaluation needs to be done in pairs. It is highly recommended that you look for an evaluation partner
2.3 Both of your cameras must be on to take this exam.
2.4 It is highly advisable that we record these sessions so that we, teachers, can keep a video register for this evaluation process. For this to happen, it is compulsory that you give your consent for this session to be recorded. The evaluation will not be recorded if you do not want to do it.
2.5 The total evaluation process will last 15-20 min. So, please take that into account.
3. Concerning our pending evaluations, these will not be considered. We will only consider the two evaluations we already have registered: Writing Quiz 1 and Listening Quiz 1, with redistributed percentage weighting, that is, 20% each.
3.1 The new percentage weighting has been redistributed in the following order:
1. Writing Quiz 1: 20%
2. Listening Quiz 1: 20%
3. Final Oral Test: 60%
4. A PPT file has been uploaded to 'Material Docente', where you will find its application format (i.e. structure, questions' type, etc.)
If you have any questions or comments, please write back
Best Regards
