Dear Students,
For previous weeks' lessons (August 19th. & 23rd.)
(1) The PPT file for 'Lesson 0' & '1' can be found in the 'Material Docente' section
For the following lessons (August 27th and 29th.)
(1) We will be working on both of our lessons, which will be divided into two parts, as we already know:
(1.1) The following Tuesday and Thursday lessons (#2 & #3) will work on both Unit 1, Lessons 2 & 3
(1.1.1) Lessons 2 & 3 will be composed of
(a) Unit 1: Lesson 2: Welcome to University' [What's in your bag?] (a) Listening: What do you think people have in their bags?, (b) Grammar: Prepositions of Place, (c) Listening 2: Describing a student's desk, (d) Speaking: Tell your partner where you study, (e) Listening 3: Maria José left her backpack in the classroom, help her find it! (f) Speaking: Role-playing a telephone conversation, (g) Show and Tell: What's in your bag?
(b) Unit 1: Lesson 3: Welcome to University! [Challenges and Support] (a) Lead-in: Expectations at university, (b) Listening: which class are these students talking about?, (c) Language Focus: Read the transcript and answer some questions (Past, Future), (d) Speaking: Talking about your classes at university, (e) Reading: Students' Services Workshops, (f) Writing: Fill in the form to register for the workshop you want to attend, (g) Reading: Which workshop should these students attend and why?
