Dear Students,
Our lesson for today (Apr 28th)
(1) The PPT file for 'Lesson 6' can be found in the ‘Material Docente’ section.
(2) The link for our lesson recording can be found in the ‘Clase Virtual’ section. You just click on the play icon to watch it
For our next lesson (Apr 30th)
(1) We will be working on our second synchronous lesson that will be divided into two parts as we already know, (a) Linguistic (some grammatical structures in communicational contexts for the most part) and (b) Communicative (video debates)
(2) For the second part of this next lesson, please, watch the following video (it contains Eng. Subtitles), 'Studying Chemistry at the University of Copenhagen'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Db8h_vaTsY
(2.1) Once you have watched it, please think about the following questions
(2.1.1) Please describe the scientific work Stephen Platt (an MSc student) is doing. Use simple words.
(2.2.2) With the information provided by the video comment on one point that you think is relevant. Provide two reasons for this relevancy.
(3) Some important information,
(3.1) We are going to review the Oral Presentation assessment in case some of you will not be able to deliver it next May 19th. The evaluation instructions will be uploaded on the 'u-tareas' section for you to take a look from next Wed. Also, the material for this evaluation such as the rubric document, the audiovisual guideline and its corresponding script will be uploaded to 'material docente'
(3.2) We also will be going to review and see what you're expected to write for our next Blog (N°3), as we have done every single week
In case of doubt, please do not hesitate to contact me back,
Best Regards
