Dear Students,

For our lesson for today (April 12th.)

(1) We have already worked on our first two blog entries, so please, I beg you to go to the 'tareas' section and complete the assignments
(2) We have also reviewed our Video Talk 1 rubric. This document can be found in the 'material docente' section         [2. C.A. Video 1 (15%): Evaluation Material - Week starting April 18th -]

For our next lesson (April 14th.)

(1) We will be working on our lesson that will be divided into two parts as we already know, (a) Linguistic (some grammatical structures in communicational contexts for the most part and autonomous work for almost all of the evaluations) and (b) Communicative (video debates)

(1.1) For the second part of this next lesson, please, watch the following video (it contains English Subtitles), ‘The Science of Early Childhood Development',  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLiP4b-TPCA
(2.1) Once you have watched it, please think about the following questions:

(2.1.1)  According to what Jack Shonkoff (Director for the Harvard's 'Center of the Developing Child') has said, how would you interpret in your own words and under the view of your academic speciality the following statement: 'The brain is prepared to be shaped by experience'.

(2.1.2) With the information provided by the video, comment on one point that you think is relevant. Provide two reasons for this relevance.

In case of doubt, please do not hesitate to contact me back,
