Dear Students,

For today's lessons (April 5th.)

(2) The PPT files for 'Lessons 1 & 2' can be found in the 'Material Docente' section

For our next lessons (April 12th.)

(1) We will be working on our lessons which will be divided into two parts as we already know, (a) Linguistic (some grammatical structures in communicational contexts for the most part and autonomous work for all of the asynchronous evaluations) and (b) Communicative (individual and group work: debating activities, video discussions, etc.)

(1.1) For our 3th lesson, please, watch the following video (it contains English Subtitles), What the bilingual brain can teach us about code-switching',https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W48ORvJ7uqM

(1.1.1) Once you have watched it, please think about the following question(s):

(1.1.1.1) Can you tell us how you learned English when you were younger? And how did you learn Spanish?

(1.1.1.2) What is code-switching? [explain in your own words]
(1.1.1.3) Have you ever experienced code-switching [English-Spanish]? Under what circumstances?

(2.1) For our 4th lesson, please, watch the following video (it contains English Subtitles), ‘Two artists fuse styles on one canvas (Part I)’, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rx0Scm7QTXY

(2.1.1) Once you have watched it, please think about the following question(s):

(2.1.1.1) How has this experiment been going so far for both artists? Do they get along with each other?
(2.1.1.2) Will they be able to finish their work? What is your prediction?

In case of doubt, please do not hesitate to contact me back,

Best Regards
