Dear Students,
Next Week, no lessons!! See you next June 15th!!
For our lesson for today (June 4th)
(1) The PPT file for 'Lesson 12' can be found in the ‘Material Docente’ section. Also, you can find the .mp3 file attached.
(2) The link for our lesson recording can be found in the ‘Clase Virtual’ section. You just click on the play icon to watch it
For our next lessons (June 15th)
(1) We will be working on our first synchronous lesson that will be divided into two parts as we already know, (a) Linguistic (some grammatical structures in communicational contexts for the most part) and (b) Communicative (video debates)
(1.1) For the second part of this next lesson, please, watch the following video (it contains Eng. Subtitles), "Implementing Public Policy Course"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlXrWHSW5bI
(2.1) Once you have watched it, please think about the following questions
(2.1.1) In what way, implementing a Public Policy, is not as easy as it sounds? Why does the speaker of the video say that implementing a Public Policy is not like opening a box of Legos?
(2.2.2) With the information provided by the video comment on one point that you think is relevant. Provide two reasons for this relevance.
(3) Some important news for you,
(3.1) The sixth (6th) blog entry is already uploaded. It is meant to be handed in on June 18th
(3.2) Our next evaluation: "Continuous Assessment 3: Webquest 1" is already uploaded in the 'tareas' section. It is meant to be handed in next June 4th (with some additional days)
(3.3) The next evaluation: "Continuous Assessment 2: Listening Activity 2" will be available next June 17th and 18th
In case of doubt, please do not hesitate to contact me back,
Best Regards
