Dear students,

I hope everybody is doing well. This is my general feedback for the final test. It shows the average results that you obtained as a group. 

Reading Section:  This was the best section in terms of results. You obtained more than 95% of correct answers here, congratulations!! Nevertheless, I suggest that you continue reading texts in English, especially related to sciences and from authentic sources.  By doing this, you can incorporate more vocabulary and more complex structures.  

Listening Section: In this section you obtained about 80% of correct answers. This result is better than the ones you got in previous quizzes. This shows that the practice is important to understand more and more when you listen to people talking in English. Don't stop practising. Try to watch Netflix or Youtube  in English ( with English subtitles). Listen to music in English with subtitles as well.  And watch science programs too!!

Writing Section: We didn´t have this type of activity before in a formal quiz or evaluation. Here I can say that many of you can write a text in simple English and express your ideas in a good way,  but you have several problems related to the use of grammar and vocabulary. You still need to work on your writing and that is what you will do in the 2nd semester.  The average percentage of achievement in this section was almost  70% in the final test.

Estimad@s estudiantes,

Espero se encuentren muy bien. Les quiero informar que el próximo jueves 29 de junio tendremos
el test final a las 11.00 hrs en punto, en el auditorio.  Juntaré ambas secciones para optimizar el tiempo.
Inmediatamente después, a las 12.30 hrs, evaluaré todas las presentaciones pendientes.

Pd: las notas de las presentaciones hechas ya están disponibles.

General Instructions for Oral Presentation 20

1. Duration: between 3,30 and 4,30 minutes. 
2. Topic: The same topic that you presented in the oral layout. Now you have to put more content to each of the parts/sections included in it.
3. Power point: basically, you need to use images or other visual aids that illustrate the topic of your presentation in a good way. The  written text should be limited to the titles and subtitles and/or some extra information you need to include.

Please, also revise the RUBRIC that I just uploaded in material docente.
