Dear Students,
For previous weeks' lessons (August 27th. & 29th.)
(1) The PPT file for 'Unit 1: Lessons 2' & '3' can be found in the 'Material Docente' section
For the following lessons (September 3rd and 5th.)
(1) We will be working on both of our lessons, which will be divided into two parts, as we already know:
(1.1) The following Tuesday and Thursday lessons (#2 & #3) will work on both Unit 2, Lessons 1 & 2
(1.1.1) Lessons 2 & 3 will be composed of
(a) Unit 2: Lesson 1: 'Developing Ideas' [Back to class, back to the past] (a) Speaking: comparing past experiences, (b) Academic Language: Writing (connecting ideas), (c) Reading: identifying connectors within sentences, (d) Final Task: Summarizing past events
(b) Unit 2: Lesson 2: 'Developing Ideas' [Planning for the next class] (a) Speaking: How accurate are these schedule arrangements for next week? Are they similar to yours? (b) Academic Language: Providing examples; (c) Listening: Matching definitions and concepts related to writing assignments, among other activities; (d) Final Lesson Task: Creating a study plan
