Welcome to B1+ English! I'm thrilled to have you on board and excited to embark on this learning journey together. My name is Camila Mardones and I will be your teacher this semester.

In this course, we'll be exploring the use of English for networking and academic purposes. I aim to create a supportive and engaging environment where you can develop your skills, ask questions, and collaborate with your peers.

All course materials, including readings and assignments, will be available on U-cursos, I will update it each week.

We will start our semester tomorrow at 14.30 in Aulario A, sala 8.

NIT 1: ACADEMIC BIOGRAPHY AND

NETWORKING

Objectives: presenting and talking about yourself in an academic context; describing, comparing, and contrasting people; talking about past and present academic experiences; developing interpersonal communication skills (persuading and convincing).
