General information

Estimadas y estimados estudiantes:

 

Al tiempo de saludar, quisiéramos comentarles que entendemos muy claramente que el estamento estudiantil de la Facultad de Ciencias Químicas y Farmacéuticas ha votado paralizar las actividades académicas entre los días martes 22 y viernes 25 de junio.

 

Sin embargo, como Coordinador del Programa de Inglés a nivel de Facultad, esta situación nos complica en el siguiente sentido.

 

El Programa de Inglés y los Cursos de Formación General (de plataforma) se rigen por el calendario académico de la Vicerrectoría de Asuntos Académicos; puesto que se trata de programas transversales que no dependen directamente de la Facultad. Es por este motivo, que dichas asignaturas siguen su propio calendario. 

 

Años anteriores, nos ha ocurrido esta misma situación y la manera que hemos tenido para solucionar la problemática es la siguiente:

 

-       Las y los profesores realizarán igualmente sus clases y las dejarán disponibles en la plataforma UCursos para que las y los estudiantes puedan verlas en los tiempos que ello(a)s consideren apropiados. Por cuanto, no existe obligatoriedad de conectarse a clases.

-       El material de clases estará disponible en plataforma y las y los estudiantes podrán resolver dudas, vía UCursos, con sus profesores.

-       De haber evaluaciones programadas, las y los docentes, buscarán – en conjunto con sus estudiantes de sección – las mejores alternativas que les permitan reprogramar estas evaluaciones.

 

En este contexto, el calendario del Programa de Inglés no se puede suspender debido a un mandato institucional que emana del Departamento de Pregrado de la Universidad. En este sentido, es importante que sepan:

 

·  La última semana de clases en CFG e Inglés será la semana del 26 al 30 de julio.

 

·  El tope para el cierre de actas en ambos programas será el viernes 6 de agosto.

 

·  La apertura del catálogo CFG en UCampus para la inscripción del 2º semestre 2021 será el lunes 9 de agosto. El catálogo permanecerá abierto para inscripciones regulares hasta el viernes 27 de agosto y se aceptarán solicitudes extraordinarias hasta el viernes 3 de septiembre.

 

·  En el programa de Inglés, la fecha tope para recibir las solicitudes de secciones de Inglés para el 2º semestre será el miércoles 18 de agosto.

 

·  Se mantiene igual la 2ª semana de pausa calendarizada en ambos programas para la semana del 7 al 11 de junio.

 

·  Finalmente, se mantiene la fecha de inicio de las clases del 2º semestre en ambos programas para el día lunes 30 de agosto.
